Notebook
A notebook is a container for your notes -- every note belongs to exactly one notebook. The Notebook tab is where you create, edit, and delete notebooks.
Accessing the Notebook tab
Go to Settings → Notebook.
Managing notebooks
The tab shows a table of your notebooks (Title, Icon, Color), sorted alphabetically.
- Add a notebook -- click Add Notebook, fill in a title, icon, and color, then Save. Title, icon, and color are all required.
- Edit a notebook -- change its title, icon, or color inline, then Save. An undo icon appears next to unsaved edits so you can revert them before saving.
- Delete a notebook -- click the trash icon and confirm. This isn't available for every notebook (see below).
There's no limit on how many notebooks you can create, and no check for duplicate names.
The default notebook
Every account has one notebook marked as its default (a notebook named "Ideas" is created automatically for new accounts). The default notebook has no delete button -- it can't be removed.
Deleting a notebook with notes in it
A notebook that still has notes in it can't be deleted -- you'll get an error telling you it has notes associated with it. Move or delete its notes first, then delete the notebook.
