Dialogs

Dialogs are the focused windows Kalendi opens on top of the app for a specific task -- creating or editing an item, jotting a note, searching, or adding an item on the fly. Note, Search, Quick Add Item, and Create/Edit Item are reachable from the toolbar's Dialogs group; Hotbox and Subtasks are opened straight from an item instead.

Pages

  • Note -- a docked panel for quick notes, drag one onto the calendar to turn it into an item.
  • Search -- find items by title or description.
  • Quick Add Item -- type a sentence, Kalendi parses the date, time, and more.
  • Create/Edit Item -- the full item editor: details, schedule, guests, subtasks, files, and appearance.
  • Hotbox -- right-click and hold an item for a radial quick-action menu: status, priority, links, and export.
  • Subtasks -- Ctrl/Cmd + double-click an item for just its checklist, without opening the full editor.
